Convery heads for Mourneview
Defender John Convery has this evening completed a transfer to Glenavon.
The 31-year-old defender, who was placed on the Transfer List by Manager Tommy Breslin six days ago, returns to
the club where he started his career and from where he would join Celtic ahead of subsequent spells with Portadown
and Newry City.
He joined the Reds in the summer and scored two goals in 10 appearances but was made available for transfer
following a lack of first-team opportunities and leaves Solitude with the Club's best wishes.
